A little ignorance . . . . .
This is an example of ignorance that I chose because it is typical of the simple minded folks who really don't want to kow the truth. This is a dramatic oversimplification of complex matters.
Space suits such as the astronauts wore for the Apollo missions would not protect you from the radiation in the Fukushima reactor because they were never designed to protect against that strength of Gamma radiation. Note that the author does not seem to know the difference between Gamma rays and alpha and beta rays such as would be found in the Van Allen radiation belts - or that the Apollo missions only passed through the very thinnest part of the belts - ah, but that is all too complicated, right?
The moon missions went through the belts very near the north pole. Note also that NASA has sent satellites through the VanAllen belts.
Lucky is the fool who did not put his name to this work.

The Land Beyond Part 3
Since my last post there has been a big
blowback directed at Corey Goode and David Wilcock of “Cosmic
Disclosure” on Gaia TV website for not providing any real
supporting evidence for the claims made in their show.
I’m not going to get into that here,
except to say that I have found more careful, evidence supported
analysis from others – and thus for this episode, the few who get
good scores from me.
First, Richard Dolan. Richard
has a good analytical approach to the whole “UFO Scene” - he has
a lot to say and it’s carefully though out.
Plenty of Youtube vids
to get you started, then
Richard is one person who has expressed
skepticism about Corey Goode and his associates, and noted what
appears to be a lot of connections to the “new age” ideology,
none of which seems to me to have any supporting evidence either. I
did try to watch a video where Corey apparently replied to the
criticisms of his work but I just could not watch it – it was just too
awful and slow for me.
Next. Joseph P. Farrell. Joseph
is generous in his provision of information – he is a very
competent researcher and has assembled impressive information on
aspects of the UFO field that look very accurate and clear –
particularly since he takes the sort of approach that I appreciate:
both the social, historical and technical all meshing together to
make a coherent picture.
Here is one example of Joseph on a
radio show- there are a lot of vids of him on Youtube.
This is Joseph’s website:
Yes, I know the title sounds new-agey
but check out his vids, you won’t be disappointed.
His books also appear on Adventures
Unlimited Press website run by David Hatcher Childress, another
author well known for his works in this field. To be honest, I am not
sure what to think about David, I'll leave that up to you - but he does have a lot of books etc. for sale.
Finally, the place where almost all of
the UFO/Altsci people can be found, Project Camelot.
Note that the folk running Project
Camelot are careful not to offer critique of anyone who may appear
wit hwild tales, but rather they seek to document and record these
people – so that you can judge for yourself, and there are a LOT of
interviews on the Camelot site - so I really cannot give it a rating: each perosn interviewed must be judged individually.

The Land Beyond Part 2
Cosmic Disclosure: Corey Goode and
David Wilcock : Good but . . .
.
(on Gaia TV )
I am undecided about Corey: some parts
of his story are very hard to accept such as what he calls the “Twenty
and back” where young people serve in space for twenty years then
are reverse aged and memory wiped so that they remember nothing of
their time – and then return to the almost the same time they left
to serve, thus nobody knows about it. Corey says he is an unusual
one as his memory wipe didn’t work – or maybe something or
someone gave it back to him. He doesn’t exactly say.
Never mind anything else, this is hard
to accept. I understand that as a teen myself I wished that I could
fly around in space and meet aliens and so on . . . . so it would be
easy to imagine it all . . . . . and yet Corey comes across as
genuine.If that means anything.
So I give him an “undecided”
because I think that some of what he claims is true . . . .
and wait to see if any more will be confirmed. Somehow.
The Secret Space Program story neatly
combines several threads together: first it claims that all
“spiritual technology” is denigrated here in the west because it
really works and can be used to do all sorts of amazing things that
can also be enhanced using technology. Of course, since it has
military applications it must be denigrated and ridiculed in public,
right?
Then there is the group of claims that
there is an entire series of space colonies populated by humans out
there: Mars, the moon, the Asteroid belt, all the way out to the Oort
Cloud – there are said to be more than seven million humans on Mars
alone.
There are also hundreds, thousands,
millions of alien races – all of them basically humanoid in shape
but otherwise varied in colour, shape and so on. It’s a big, busy
galaxy and we are a stop on a cosmic “silk road”.
The whole of our science is basically
faulty : the universe is primarily electromagnetic, there is no
speed of light limit and space travel is commonplace.
Not only that, but there are portals
or "wormholes" everywhere too: some are natural but there are plenty of artificial
ones that can be used to travel instantly across space to other
planets etc. etc.
His story matches diverse elements from
history into a coherent whole – for example, supposedly some
Germans before and during WW2 developed secret flying saucers but
those responsible left Germany and Hitler’s people long before the
end and moved to a base in Antarctica where the easily defeated
Admiral Byrd and his forces during “Operation High Jump” - which
is well reported, although the exact details are not clear.
Things like this make me think either
he is good at assembling history into a neat whole, or he really does
have some serious inside information.
For me at the moment, the big question
is whether “spiritual technology” is real or not.
I can take it a step further though:
even if there is a “spiritual realm” or “higher dimensions”
that we can connect with, if I can’t sense or connect with these in
some way it is meaningless to me.
This is not about logic or science,
it’s simply experience.
Yes, I have had dreams where I floated
around and seemed to be looking at the outside world – but there
was no information gained that could be confirmed later in the waking
world – so it might as well have been all just a dream, and that is
the cruncher: whatever other worlds may exist in dreaming or some
other state, if it does not connect with or somehow have meaning in
the real world, it is no more than “brain farts” as some people
call dreaming.
I admit , I would like to believe in
what Corey is saying, but I have no supporting evidence about any of
it apart from a few indirect real historical events – or other
YouTube vids which have the same credibility problems as Corey’s
own claims. Yes, there are a group of YT channels or presenters that
seem to be all singing from the same songsheet – There is “The
Event”, Corey and others I can’t recall at the moment - all
provide mutual supporting evidence and promise The Event is coming
soon when all the bad boys will get their just deserts – and of
course I would be happy to see some of the horrors of our world ended
and the perpetrators on trial, along with the secrets brought out
into the open so we can save our planet and ourselves . . . . . but
it does seem to be all very optimistic too, and totally unlike any
time in the past. I would welcome an end to the ignorance of this
current age, but hope will not be enough to bring that about.
Corey makes amazing claims but has no
supporting evidence apart from a few other people who have appeared
on his show – and they don’t seem to have any material evidence
either.
For me, his credibility is not helped by working with David Wilcock who I have decided is
totally outside my reality: he is something like a religious preacher
- he makes grandiose claims but just like Corey has no, I repeat NO
solid supporting evidence – and when people make claims such as he
recently did about some sort of apocalypse that only “the pure at
heart” will survive I must call it bullshit – because there is
no historical precedent. It is true that things happen that don’t
have any historical precedent, of course, but I will wait and see.
It seems that I am a very un-spiritual
person, not having any memories of past lives or recall of
out-of-body journeys etc. etc. and despite my time as a church member Jesus never saved me, and I don’t
think any of that will change in a hurry. Maybe I’m just a young
soul who is only on my third or fourth life. :)
I just don’t
accept anything blindly and to me “faith” is a con. Faith gets
people all expecting things so that they might even delude themselves
into making things appear in their own imaginations: it’s a sort of
self hypnosis.
I don’t do faith. Give me something
real, or admit it’s fiction.
I bought David’s book, “The
Ascencion Mysteries” but I can’t read it, but that is much better
than “The Law Of One’ which he draws a lot of his ideas from in
the book. It is available free on the net: but it is really unreadable.
I stopped reading it when it got to a part where it said something
like “The Pyramids build themselves”. It’s worse than legalese
too – the way it is written is quite, well, alien.
So why do I still watch Corey and
David? Because it is an entertaining story. It expresses what I
concluded myself as a child – that we are just a little ball of
dirt at the edge of a big galaxy and it is full of life and living
beings travelling, trading and doing whatever else they do . . . . we
are just a handful of primitives down here who are just not getting
out there yet, for some reason. The very idea of a dead, empty galaxy has always been silly to me: as I wrote ina previous post, why do our scientists assume they have discovered everything and that there is nothing out there because their instruments can't pick up anything? It's foolish. As silly as the speed of light being a limit.
I guess I’m still hoping that somehow
something will turn up that provides some better evidence supporting
his claims. There are oddments that might indirectly support some of
the claims but nothing concrete . . . . and none of it really relates
to us real folks living down here on Earth, which is the bottom line
of it all: how does this story relate to me? Nothing in the story has
direct meaning for my life: no UFOs ever dropped in on me or put on a
show even when I tried with the help of others (but that’s another
story) - but if you want an intriguing story that reads like grand sci-fi, check out the show - and if you do find something that does support the SSP story, let me know, huh?

One step beyond
Okay, did you look at the previous post?
You want to know how to make a really amazing experiment? Take that device and go one step further. You can see that two forces at right angles to each other create a third, so how about putting a third force in there: won't that produce a force at right angles to all three?
It should not be too hard to imagine taking the ring of mercury and putting it on a shaft with an electric motor on the other end so the whole ring spins, and you would need to put the electric current in with either nonmagnetic rollers rolling on the metal rings or just a copper leaf that rubs on it if you want to go simpler - but there it is, a third force is now operated at right angles to the other two.
Of course, you don't really want the mercury to fly out so you will need to cover it over too - actually I think it doesn't even need to be mercury - anything that conducts should work (I'm guessing here) but you can spin that ring fast, put two ring magnets directly above and below it instead of the low power design shown in the vid which is done to make sure you see the mercury moving - heck, up the current as well if you want - but I'm guessing the result will be some sort of 4D force and that would be mind blowing to say the least.
I dare you to try it - but please let me know the results too. I don't have the money or equipment to even copy the experiment shown. Call it whever you like, just let me know if it works or not.

Moving mercury and The Lorentz Force
Supposedly according to "ancient Indian texts", "Vimanas" operated by having mercury in an iron container which produced lifting force when heated. This is not supported by experiment ( as far as I know) or it would surely have been rediscovered long ago. Apply enough heat to mercury in a sealed container and it will explode, making a very big poisonous mess. Either those "ancient texts" are not telling anything like the whole story or they are just plain lies.
What this video DOES show is what is known scientifically as the Lorentz Force: the mercury in the ring is penetrated by a magnetic field going through it vertically while the electric field goes through it horizontally, these two creating the third force which moves the mercury at right angles to the other two - around the ring. This will not create any "lift force" but it does show that the Lorentz force is real and does work on a conductive fluid.
Can the Lorentz Force be used to generate thrust? Note that it only operates on a conductive fluid - so you won't be moving air or water with it any time soon unless you change the medium's properties first. Then consider the power used: only two volts but a LOT of current - better have some serious power supplies on hand to do it. Finally, there is no "antigravity" effect or force involved - sorry folks, no secret flying saucer power here - just real science.
In theory, one might ionise air around your "saucer" to make it more conductive but even so the electrical resistance of the air will dramatically increase the amount of power needed to cause movement and the magnetic field is going to need to be huge too: so you will need a tremendous amount of electric power to cause this effect and after all of this, there is no "antigravity" or artificial gravity involved: that generator and the rest of your equipment is still going to weight a lot and won't make a saucer that can do much apart from maybe (if you have enough power/weight ratio) get you off the ground. No supersonic performance, no instant cornering at 2000 Kph. Nope.
Score one for science and zero for fiction.

The Land Beyond Part 1
If there is one thing the net is good
for, it is weird, strange and “alternative” ideas about life,
history and science. I don’t claim to be an expert of any kind and
I welcome anyone who reads this (yeah, right, as if anyone reads
this!) - if you can offer different views or better information to
email me and I will happily look at it and amend my reports if it
makes sense to me.
Estimations
of Credibility
These are my own estimations of the
credibility of various people in the "Alternative" media - even the liars are at least entertaining. Wether any of them are genuine or not is at times impossible to determine because of the clouds of fake information and outright bulls***t about.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zechariah Sitchin: FAKE.
I tried to sit through one video of him talking about his ideas and almost fell asleep - but that does not affect the accuracy or otherwise of what he says.
Nobody has found any translations of
the Sumerian tablets that support all of his claims.
Anyone prepared to take me up on this and show me where some Sumerian
tapped into his clay tablet something that supports Sitchin’s
claims? For him to make all these claims but never support them is just plain quackery. Did he ever write his "corrected" guide to Sumerian that proves his story? No.
To be honest there are elements of the story in actual approved translations of Sumerian: but that does not mean the rest of his story is automatically true.
Putting it simply, according to him we are the slave race created by the "Annanuki" to mine gold for them to somehow protect their planet "Nibiru" which occupies an extreme orbit that takes it out past Pluto at one end of it's orbit and in near Earth in the other.
The idea of a wandering planet
having humanoids living on it is dubious: if “Nibiru” really had
an orbit such as he claimed, the surface would be as cold as Pluto
for most of it’s orbit, and the problems only get worse from there:
no amount of gold in a planet’s atmosphere would keep it safe in an
extreme elliptical orbit as described in his work. Gold might be
useful for electrical equipment or even for shielding from radiation in a solid layer ( as sometimes used in modern spacecraft),
but even then there are too many gaping holes in Sitchin’s
stories for me to accept them as true.
Moondust
I have seen people online asking "Why didn't they go back to the moon?" and proposing all sorts of way-out theories. Well, none of those are necesary - the simplest answer is very practical and very deadly: Moondust. Have a look at this :
No wonder people on Earth now look to Mars as a much better colonisation option: at least it has atmosphere and weather so there will be erosion and you won't have that sandpaper dust problem (although Mars has it's own problems).
No angry aliens, mysterious glass structures or secret bases required.
Unless you go to some serious effort ( e.g. building an elevated landing pad and sealing your base very, very thoroughly) you are bound to end up with leaking spacesuits, failing equipment and dead astronauts - it is only a matter of time. No wonder people on Earth now look to Mars as a much better colonisation option: at least it has atmosphere and weather so there will be erosion and you won't have that sandpaper dust problem (although Mars has it's own problems).
OUT THERE
I was taught that the galaxy was probably dead.
Apart from dear little Earth, everywhere else was dead, no life, no
air, no water. We humans are supposedly something special, there is
nobody out there, we are “the chosen few”.
The first problem with that viewpoint
is that life on Earth is everywhere. We now know that there are
lifeforms that can be frozen for centuries that reanimate once
conditions become suitable again (tardigrades) – there are
lifeforms at the bottom of the deep seas, microbes floating in the
upper atmosphere, and maybe living forms we have not even defined living
further out from there . . . . . .
but we are told, sadly, there is no
life off Earth.
Of course, this also depends on your
definition of “life” too – is DNA itself a form of life? It can
be frozen at zero degrees, frozen in a meteoroid and sent across the
galaxy to finally land on some distant planet where it might be
defrosted and reanimate to create new life (see Prof. Fred Hoyle's Panspermia theory). . . . . but the universe
is dead, right?
Our astronomers define intelligent life
currently as that which uses radio signals to communicate, even
though it is almost useless at interplanetary distances, but since we
don’t (officially) know of any other method and can’t hear
anything (officially), we are confidently told that there is nobody
out there.
Personally I regard that as making as
much sense as mythical American Indians looking toward the horizon
saying to each other “there is nobody across the sea because we
can’t see any smoke signals” - the assumption that radio waves
are the only possible method of space communication is just plain
stupid. I am sure that if space travel is doable (and I think it is)
then they would have something much, much faster than radio waves for
communication. This delusion that there is nothing else is
pseudoscientific conceit - the real conceit here is that our science is somehow capable of explaining everything adequately, yet a few minutes of careful analysis will show it is deeply flawed: gravity waves, anyone? How about a "unified theory of physics"? Need I say more?
To extrapolate from our local
experience, we would expect that the galaxy would be teeming with
life: every planetary body capable would have its own ecosystem, many
with intelligent life, most based on some sort of DNA/RNA code
because that’s the system we see around us.
Of course, this is all assumption. There may be other systems that don't use DNA but something else.
Would they all be nice, friendly and
benevolent beings? Not likely. Not if they are anything like
the lifeforms here on Earth: the
lifeforms here consist of predators and prey, parasites and hosts,
symbiotes and lots of cooperatives. Of course, that assumes that they are quite similar to us, or at least life here - but they are alien and so they might not even be neatly described by us . . . . . we could need whole new collections of words just to describe alien life.
All of this only applies to this
specific level of reality, please note: there may well be other
levels of reality that are not “organised” the same way but I
don’t know about them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The net has supplied a huge amount of "information" but the trouble is, most of it is junk: in addition, there may be information that is true but we have been taught not to trust it, and how can we change our views without solid proof?
I will chart in future posts my own observations and notes about various things I think worth looking at - but with careful reference to facts as I understand them, with quite a bit of skepticism thrown in where deserved.
For the first episode, I will refer you to Tyler from Secureteam10 for a word about The Moon.
Yes, everything he says is correct as far as I know, and can be verified from other sources.
Why make up stuff when reality is so out there already?
